MTR Madras Sambar Powder Product Description :
MTR Daily Favourites - Masala
- Delight your tastebuds with this new variant of Sambar with an extra spice. An everyday favourite of a Tamil Nadu household!
Directions to use MTR Madras Sambar Powder :
- Cook 250g of vegetables of your choice. Keep aside.
- Cook 2 1/2 tbsp ( 450g ) of toor dal in 500ml of water with 1/2 tsp cooking oil and a pinch of turmeric.
- Grind 2 1/2 tsp ( 12g ) of MTR Madras Sambhar Powder with grated coconut and a little jaggery ( if desired ).
- Mix this with a cooked dal.
- Add cooked vegetables, tamarind extract and salt to taste. Boil for 5 minutes.
- Prepare the seasoning of 1/2 tsp mustard and curry leaves in 1/2 tsp of cooking oil. Add to Sambar.
Tasty Tip :
- Garnish it with finely chopped coriander leaves and enjoy as a soup or with rice.
