The Chicory plant is native to the temperate parts of the World and is cultivated in many countries. Roots are fleshy, tapering, stem 1-3 long angled and grooved, branches rigid spreading, leaf nerves, beneath, hispid leaves ablong lanceolate, upper cordate amplexical. Head 1-1/2?? diameter, peduncles thickened in the middle, involucres bracts herbaceous, ligules bright blue, rarely white or pink.

Dosage of Kasinikeerai / Chicory Leaves Powder:
Morning - Mix 5 gms of powder in 100 ml water, Boil the content for few minutes. Once the water gets warm, filter the content and drink it before food. Repeat the same for Evening Dosage after dinner.
