Kottakkal Ayurveda Cheriya Lakshadi Tailam Its usage:

• Fever and headache.Generalized body aches. Used in fractures pain. It is used in Ayurvedic therapies such as Abhyanga (massage).

Lakshadi Oil ingredients:

• Taila – Sesame oil – Sesamum indicum – 768 mlAranala – Fermented gruel – 4.608 litersLaksha – Laccifer lacca – 32 gHaridra – Turmeric rhizome – Curcuma longa – 32 gManjishta – Indian Madder (root) – Rubia cordifolia – 32 gIn kerala, it is made with coconut oil base, in place of sesame oil. This oil is called Lakshadi kera thailam.

Dosage: 

• As directed by the Physician

Usage:

• Apply body oil liberally on the affected part or whole body and massage gently for 30 minutes to one hour before bath. Oils for hair can be applied on head 30 minutes before bath or as directed by the Physician

• Convalescence of chronic fever, psychosis and seizure disorders, promotes growth in infants and children
