Kottakkal Ayurveda Naladadi Ghritam :

Naladadi Ghritam is an Ayurvedic medicine in herbal ghee form. It is used for the treatment of schizophrenia, mania etc. It is also called Pratibha Rasayanam.

Uses of Naladadi Ghritam:

• Used for the treatment of Schizophrenia, mania, Manic Depressive Psychosis,
• This is effective in dullness in children due to undeveloped brain and convulsions.
• Beneficial in autism and such other neurological deficits in children.
• Improves memory, speech and concentration

Ingredients of Naladadi Ghritam:

• Katukarohini (Picrorrhiza kurroa)
• Payasya (Holostemma adakodien)
• Madhuka (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
• Chandana (Santalum album)
• Sariva (Hemidesmus indicus)
• Vacha (Acorus calamus)
• Shankhapushpi (Clitoria ternatea)

Naladadi Ghritam dosage: 

1. As medicine – quarter to half teaspoon with water, usually before food, once or twice a day, or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
2. For Panchakarma preparation – Snehana procedure, the dose depends on the disease status and the judgement of Ayurvedic doctor.
3. It is usually administered with warm water.
