Kottakkal Ayurveda Nayanamritam Kuzhampu
Nayanamritam kuzhampu is an Ayurvedic eye drop used for the treatment of glaucoma, cataract, eye muscle related disorders etc. It is made with castor oil and sesame oil base.
It does not contain alcohol or glycerine.
Uses of Nayanamritam Kuzhampu:
- An effective tool in the deterioration of vision. – Myopia
- Useful during rehabilitation therapy in conjunction with other Ayurvedic remedies for eye care.
- Glaucoma, Cataract, Iritis
Ingredients of Nayanamritam Kuzhampu:
Each 10 ml is prepared from –
- Magadhaja (Piper longum) – Long pepper fruit – 0,024 g
- Maricha (Piper nigrum) – Black pepper – 0,040 g
- Haimavati beeja (Mucuna puriens) – Kapikacchu – 0,096 g
- Soma (Sarcostemma acidum) – 0,160 g
- Rohini (Picrorrhiza kurroa) – 0,080 g
- Kanaka – 0,040 g
- Tuttha (Purified copper sulphate) – 0.040 g
- Anjana – 0.040 g
- Dhatrisara (Embelica officinale) – 3 ml
- Madhu (Honey) – 10 ml
Usage of Nayanamritam Kuzhampu:
- 1-2 drops one once or twice a day, or as directed by Ayurvedic physician.
- 15 minutes after application, eyes can be washed with cold water.
