Kottakkal Ayurveda Panaviraladi Bhasmam

Panaviraladi Bhasmam is a powder form of kshara or alkai preparation.

Its usage:

1. It is used in the treatment of ascites.
2. Used in Ayurvedic treatment of abdominal distension, liver and spleen disorders.

Dosage:

250 mg to 1 gram two times a day before or after food along with buttermilk or water, or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.

Panaviraladi Bhasma ingredients:

Equal parts of

Panavirala – Borassus flabellifer

Katalati – Achyarnthes aspera

Chulli – Hygrophila (root)- Asteracantha longifolia

Rambha – Banana tree – Musa paradisiaca

Special Method of Preparation

The drugs should be burnt in an uncovered earthen pot and ash should be obtained.

This is added with water and filtered. The liquid is added with buttermilk and fermented.
